In purchasing a typical design package from ACF a customer will receive:

• Part Progression drawing showing preliminary dimensions for each station including:

  • Cutoff length, volume, weight

  • Each station is matched for volume content

• Master tool layout showing all forming stations including operator setup dimensions:

• All drawings produced using UGS Solid Edge 3D solid modeling software and assembled for accuracy

• Forming loads and insert press fits calculated using custom software

• Individual assembly prints showing "in assembly" dimensions for press fit conditions

• Individual tool drawings printed on 8-1/2" x 11" format in a tabulated 3-ring binder

• Tool list

• Have any tool shop manufacture your tools or ACF can provide/ recommend a supplier

• Free engineering assistance provided to your tool manufacturer

• Tool numbering system provided if none furnished by the customer

• One-time update of all drawings included after part development has been completed

• Ongoing drawing changes available at additional charge

• ACF drawing files provided upon completion of part development - Choices include:

  • Autocad DWG

  • DXF

  • PDF

  • Native Solid Edge draft files including viewer allowing any personal computer to view and print drawings

• Part development support provisions offered

• Each design backed by over 40 years of tool design, tool manufacturing, and part development knowledge
